Amadeus at Brussels
The Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra Amadeus
On the 12th Nov the hall of Wolubilis Cultural Center vibrated with the unique sound of the Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra Amadeus conducted by Agnieszka Duczmal. The programme consisted of the transcription of Etude in b minor op.4 no 3 by Karol Szymanowski, “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Musorgski and Orawa by Wojciech Kilar. This repertoire not only helped to highlight the outstanding expressive capacities of the orchestra but has promoted the great Polish orchestra works of the XX century as well. The audience expressed its admiration by a standing ovation. The concert was co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
