All of the composers featured in this concert lived in Brussels. Henryk Wieniawski and Juliusz Zarębski were both professors at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. The Piano Quintet in G minor, Op. 34 by Juliusz Zarębski, though still not widely known, belongs to the pantheon of chamber music. Zarębski himself was a favorite pupil of Franz Liszt. Among the performers, you will find Poland’s leading string quartet. In summary, this will be an exceptional concert in many ways. You are warmly welcome!
